Journal of Gender, Race and Justice
The Journal of Gender, Race & Justice is not for the week of heart or the timid in spirit. Feminist inquiry and critical race analysis are the touchstones of our endeavor. Our building blocks are new forms of analysis that reach beyond traditional conceptions of legal thought. We challenge our writers, our readers, and ourselves to question who we are and how the law defines us. We strive to be a transformative experience. In a spirit of openness, we explore how we are classified, stratified, ignored, and singled out under the law because of our race, sex, gender, economic class, ability, sexual identity, and the multitude of labels applied to us.

Wagadu: A Journal of Transnational Women’s and Gender Studies (Open Access)
From the Soninke legend behind its name, “wagadu” has become the metaphor for women’s roles within families, communities, locally and globally. Extending our focus to gender in its diverse identities and expressions, our journal Wagadu is a forum for interdisciplinary feminist scholarship addressing issues of gender in its inevitable intersection with other social configurations such as race, place, and culture. In our transnational platform, we foster dialog that reflects the myriad situations and experiences particularly of African, Asian, and Latin American women as they are shaped by geopolitical hierarchies and actively participate in decolonizing struggles. Pushing for new approaches in feminist scholarship, Wagadu welcomes innovation in style and subject matter through our single-topic special volumes and our mixed general volumes. As an open-source journal, we aim to serve as a productive resource for the broad community of feminist scholars at all professional and geographical locations.

Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender and Society (Open Access)
The Journal, one of the earliest in the nation devoted to the study of women and the law, has strived to contribute insightful scholarship to this evolving field of study. Recognizing that women are a diverse group with differing beliefs and interests, and moreover that gender stereotyping of any kind inhibits each individual's full equality under the law, we encourage articles that examine the intersection of law and gender with issues of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and sexual orientation.

Women and Performance: A Journal of Feminist Theory
Women & Performance: a journal of feminist theory publishes scholarly essays from interdisciplinary feminist perspectives. For us, “women” and “performance” denote not simply what we study but how we study it—that is, not preconceived objects of analysis, but rather an open assembly of political, ethical, and aesthetic orientations, feminism chief among them. We encourage dialogues among various fields of performance scholarship, including theater and performance studies, dance studies, music history and criticism, ethnography, new and digital media, cinema studies, and cultural studies; as well as queer, critical race, and post- and decolonial theory. Working with/in this disciplinary hybridity, we explore critiques of gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, dis/ability, technology, nation, and capitalism.
