Investment banker Devi* Bose’s family looked for a match for her for years, but their quest was unsuccessful as she has the Mayer-Rokistanky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome due to which she was born without a uterus. Though the 38-year-old couldn’t conceive or carry a baby, she was desperate to have a child that was genetically her own.
