Time for Overhauls: Report of National Consultation on Services in and Around State-Run and Funded Shelter Homes for Girls, Women and Other Vulnerable Populations.

Abstract

The report traces the contours of violence against women and girls in the country today, only to stress upon the need for quality and accessible shelter schemes and homes. It provides an overview of various government-run schemes via which different kinds of shelter homes are run for different categories of women and girls. The report also outlines concerns of those who wish/need to live in these homes as well as those who already live there.
