State of Child Workers in India: Mapping Trends

Abstract

The present report begins with a background on child labour, with a discussion on different terms associated with ‘child labour’, followed by child labour policies and legislation implemented by the government. The report concludes with a set of policy recommendations for addressing the problem of child labour through a concerted approach and effective planning.
