The Gender Equality Strategy (GES) 2023 – 2026 of UNDP Maldives is futuristic and looking to advance gender equality and the empowerment of women in a digital era that is fast advancing. UNDP Maldives recognizes that bold strides need to be taken to advance gender equality and the empowerment of women if Maldives is to advocate to dismantle the strong negative narrative on gender equality and the rights of women - to achieve the sustainable development goals and the 2030 Agenda in the next 7 years.
