Abstract
This report is concerned with the impact of Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdowns, on Education in Maharashtra, particularly its implications for the rights of children and youth. It also looks at the Right to Education of the poor and the people who do not have access to the new means of educational delivery adopted by the State. Apart from the more obvious digital divide which will further widen, there is also a threat to basic antipoverty measures whether it is the ICDS schemes or the mid-day meal programme, or services of teachers and anganwadi workers, or special education.
