There is a growing focus on generating evidence on violence against informal women workers across the world.

The present study analyses government intervenons for enhancing women's safety in public spaces in two cities of Jharkhand- i.e, Ranchi and Hazaribag from the lens of governance and budgets.

The Mahila Kisan Sashaktikarn Pariyojana (MKSP) was introduced as an independent livelihood initiative targeting women in the farm sector (agriculture and allied sect
