From helping women inmates in prenatal and postnatal stages, to vaccination of children and giving them pre-primary education, this is how prison authorities are looking after children who stay with their mothers inside jails.

The present study analyses government intervenons for enhancing women's safety in public spaces in two cities of Jharkhand- i.e, Ranchi and Hazaribag from the lens of governance and budgets.

THERE is enough evidence to show that often, development policies adopted by governments have widened the disparities amongst sections of people.
