Making Abortion Safer

Abstract

Abortion is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality and contributes significantly to maternal morbidity. Accessibility to safe and legal abortion is important for women's survival and reproductive health and is considered as a reproductive right of every woman and, therefore, a human right.
